Differences and changes in gene expression are important measures to understand biological systems. One of the most widely used methods of analyzing gene expression is quantitative PCR (qPCR) following cDNA synthesis. qPCR, also called real-time PCR, uses a fluorescent reporter molecule with a primer pair to measure target nucleic acid amplification during PCR cycling.

PrimeTime qPCR Primer Assays for use with intercalating dyes, such as SYBR® Green dyes, include predesigned assays for human, mouse, or rat sequences. Custom assays may be created for all other species using the PrimerQuest Tool. Predesigned and custom assays can be can be provided in tubes or plates.
