Frequently asked questions

Our Scientific Applications Support team has assembled a list of frequently asked questions to help you find answers quickly. Filter using one or more categories to focus on specific topics, or use the search bar to perform a text search.

Why is my final yield or delivered yield lower than it used to be?

Each synthesis is unique. The resulting yield is dependent on the sequence composition, length, and purification method; it is also impacted by other variables introduced in the manufacturing process such as chemistry lot, synthesizer, etc.

Our synthesis and QC processes did not change with the unit of measure switch to nanomoles (December 2019). The lower yield from this synthesis is likely a result of the variability that is inherent to the process for nucleic acid synthesis.
