Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a global leader in genomics, and Aldevron, a global leader in the production of DNA, RNA and protein, today announced that Jennifer Meade has been appointed president of IDT and Aldevron. As head of Aldevron since 2023, Meade expands her leadership to both organizations, guiding a coordinated approach that strengthens scientific expertise, manufacturing capabilities and operational execution, providing customers with robust genomic tools to move from discovery to commercial-scale impact with speed and confidence.
“The opportunity to serve customers across the genomics landscape is clear,” said Meade. “By focusing on what matters most—speed, reliability and unmatched scientific depth—we can help clients fast-track their innovations, accelerate progress, and deliver meaningful outcomes across their key research, diagnostic, and therapeutic programs.”
Leadership to advance the next era of genomic innovation
IDT and Aldevron play critical roles in enabling applications shaping modern medicine, from cancer to rare diseases. Under Meade’s leadership, both organizations will continue to scale their differentiated capabilities to meet growing demand for advanced genomic solutions. In precision oncology, IDT’s leadership in next generation sequencing (NGS) and continued investments in synthesis capacity and transformative manufacturing technologies support a substantial share of innovators advancing research in MRD and multi-early cancer detection. At the same time, Aldevron’s expertise in process development and CGMP manufacturing provides the quality, consistency, and regulatory rigor required to deliver advanced therapies to patients.
Meade brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience and a strong track record of driving innovation and operational performance. Prior to Aldevron, she spent 16 years at a global medical technology company developing technologies to detect, diagnose and treat women’s health conditions. Her appointment reflects continued focus on strong leadership, disciplined execution, and meaningful customer impact.
